Benevolence and Compassionate Care Ministries

Room at the Inn

We join with The Firehouse and our sister churches to provide housing for the homeless between November and March.  Normally, we provide Room In The Inn on one Saturday each month during this period. In 2013 we are expanding our service night to include homeless women and children in addition to the men we have served in the past.

We are always open to monetary or food donations to support Room In The Inn.  We are especially seeking servants to assist with meals and supervision for our night of service.   Please see Pastor Tim Hardyman if you desire to help with Room In The Inn.  Most of all, please be in prayer for the men, women, and children that come through our door, that they not only receive warm fellowship, a hot meal and a warm bed, but that they become closer to Jesus Christ our Savior!

 F.U.E.L. Program

Did you know that each Friday, over twelve hundred children in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School District go home and do not receive a solid meal again until returning to school on Monday?
We join our sister churches to address the hunger among our youth and children by participating in the F.U.E.L. program in Montgomery County.  Presently, we provide weekend food for 30 students at Minglewood Elementary School, one of many schools in Clarksville that participates in this food subsidization program.
There are many ways to get involved with the F.U.E.L. program. One is to bring donations of food to the church each week. It takes nearly $150 to provide food for 30 children for just 1 week!  By bringing non-perishable foods following the guidelines below, you will significantly help in this endeavor. Monetary gifts are also welcomed. Another way you can assist is by helping fill the bags each week.
For more information about the F.U.E.L. program and to talk about getting involved, please contact Pastor Tim Hardyman.
Guidelines for F.U.E.L. Food Donations All food donations must be in non-metal containers and must not require cooking or refrigeration.

 Emergency Shelter Training

We serve our community through the American Red Cross as Emergency Shelter using the modern Family Life Center (FLC) that God has provided for His Kingdom use.  Several or our church family have attended Emergency Shelter Training and are on stand-by in case and emergency occurs in our area requiring the temporary lodging of displaced citizens.

If you would like an opportunity to be a part of this training, please see Pastor Tim Hardyman.

Operation Christmas Child

Each year during the Christmas season our church family gives sacrificially in Jesus’ name to provide gift shoeboxes for children throughout the world.  One year we collected over 70 shoeboxes bringing smiles to many.  We can do even better with your help! Thank you for giving!
